I had the privilege of creating their website, highlighting their flexible perovskite solar cells that reduce costs and increase efficiency. This project paves the way for a cleaner and more sustainable energy future, inviting visitors to join this energy revolution to illuminate the future together.
The challenge
The start-up had a website manually designed by its founder, without expertise in web design. This amateur site attracted very few visitors (less than 400 unique visitors per month) and had a conversion rate of zero. Moreover, the site displayed images of traditional solar panels, not reflecting the innovation of the products offered by the company.
The solution
I completely redesigned the start-up's website to showcase their innovative solar panels. I created 3D images of the solar panels to help visitors better visualize the product. I also integrated a section dedicated to key performance indicators (KPI), clearly illustrating the benefits of the perovskite technology used by the company. To strengthen the visual identity, I opted for a dark mode site, inspired by tech aesthetics and particularly the sleek style of Apple's website, to convey a modern and high-end image.
Since the launch of the new site, the results have been very positive. The CEO of the greentech start-up is fully satisfied with the result. The site now enjoys excellent ranking on moderately competitive keywords, and the "Contact" button records a click-through rate of 8.3%, which is above average.
