Founded in 2006 by Laurent Karst, architect and designer, Atelier 16 is a Parisian firm recognized for its projects that blend architecture, design, and environmental innovation. The agency has distinguished itself through prestigious achievements such as the interior design of the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux and the design of timber projects with a low carbon footprint. Atelier 16's philosophy is based on a multidisciplinary approach, where each project is conceived within a global coherence between architecture, design, ergonomics, and sustainability.
The challenge
The old site, designed on WordPress, was poorly optimized and prone to numerous bugs. It did not reflect the quality of the projects completed nor the contemporary and responsible dimension of the agency. The outdated design and confusing navigation limited the showcasing of the portfolio and did not support the high-end image of the firm.
The solution
I have completely rethought the site to modernize its digital identity and provide a seamless experience. The new design highlights the richness of the projects through clear hierarchy, immersive visuals, and optimized navigation. Developed on Framer, the site is now fast, responsive, and easy to manage. This overhaul allows Atelier 16 to effectively communicate its expertise and faithfully reflect the demands and creativity of its work.
