As part of a fictional project, I undertook a complete overhaul of the website of an institution honoring acts of courage and dedication. The goal was to modernize their online presence while respecting their rich heritage.
The challenge
The previous site did not fully reflect the nobility of their mission or their historical prestige. It was essential to restructure the content to highlight their core values, their honorary distinctions, and the membership procedures. Additionally, the site needed to incorporate clear calls to action to encourage applications and memberships.
The solution
Redesign of the structure : I have reorganized the navigation for a smooth user experience, allowing visitors to quickly find information about the institution, news, awards, and membership options.
Modern and sleek design : Inspired by contemporary aesthetic codes, I opted for a dark mode design with understated color accents, reflecting the seriousness and prestige of the institution.
Highlighting the strengths : I created dedicated sections for the institution's missions, its history, its organization, and testimonials from award winners, thus strengthening the credibility and appeal of the organization.
Integration of calls to action : "Join" and "Apply for an award" buttons have been strategically placed on the site to encourage visitors to engage, thus facilitating the process of membership and application.
